Tip 3: Repurpose Your Content
Are you tired of pouring your heart and soul into crafting the perfect piece of content, only to see it disappear into the vastness of the internet without making a splash?
Repurposing your content across multiple platforms and channels will not only increase the amount of content you're able to publish, but will greatly reduce the time and effort you spend maximizing the impact of your hard work.
Blake Emal from the Marketing 411 newsletter tweeted something about this that has resonated with me:
Content creation 101:
It’s not about having 1000 different ideas.
It’s about taking 1 idea and saying it 1000 different ways.

There are truly innumerable ways to take one piece of content and turn it into a dozen others. Screenshots of Tweets can be shared on LinkedIn and Instagram effectively. TikTok videos can be crossposted on Reels, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Blog posts can be turned into Twitter threads, newsletters, Reddit posts, and more. YouTube videos can be turned into TikToks. The list goes on and on and on. There are endless ways to reproduce your content to tap into different audiences all across the internet.
Here are three simple and effective ways to repurpose your content to reach a wider audience that you can begin implementing today.
1. TikToks of Tweets
The simplest way to do this is doing what I shared about in last week's post. Jack Appleby turned a tweet into a 5-second TikTok by taking a screenshot of the tweet and then using it as a green screen background for his TikTok video. He did literally nothing except use his phone's selfie camera and add a quick music track for 5-seconds, and got 700k impressions and 26k likes.
2. Tweets of Newsletters
Tweet a quote or key takeaway from your newsletter. This allows you to share a snippet of your content and entice readers to check out the full newsletter. Matt Gray, Sahil Bloom, and Justin Welsh do this phenomenally.

3. LinkedIn Posts of TikToks
Share your TikToks as native video uploads to platforms like LinkedIn. Algorithms like native content, so upload the video directly to the platform instead of pasting a link to an external site. My friend Joel Lalgee has done this really well recently. He has 162k followers on LinkedIn, and in just a few short months grew a corresponding TikTok account to almost 70k followers. He successfully posts TikToks to his LinkedIn account regularly.
Repurposing your content is a good way to build a larger audience because it allows you to get more mileage out of the content you have already created.
By presenting your content in a different format, you can make it more engaging and appealing to a different audience, which can help you improve your search engine optimization (SEO) and increase your visibility on the internet. Ultimately this will all help you to attract new readers and potential customers who you likely wouldn't have ever reached otherwise.
